Objectives

  • Promote a culture of ethics, character, service and accountability

  • Provide feedback to leadership candidates about current levels of behavior and performance, and assist them in mapping out a plan tailored to their individual development needs.

  • Stimulate personal and career growth, self awareness & confidence through personal and performance coaching and mentoring.

  • Introduce potential leaders to the notions and tools necessary for effective culture, strategy & design diagnosis and change.

  • Instruct Leadership participants in the communication and dialogue skills necessary to successfully make culture change happen.

  • Provide opportunities to examine issues with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous learning.

  • Promote the value of lateral leadership by providing county-wide networking opportunities inside and outside county government.
